We do not operate from a shop front, which enables us to be flexible for customers who wish to drop off and pick up units direct to us in Sheidow Park.

You can also drop your unit off at Derringers Music (Keyboard & Audio Dept) 66-72 Leader Street – Forrestville

Derringers have our book in forms in store. Please fill these in and once we have picked your unit up and booked it in, we will text you your book in number.
You can also attach your own note stating your name, mobile number (or email address), and the problem you are having with the unit.


Workshop Rates

Workshop Labour rate is $100 per hour inc GST (not including parts)

All Workshop repairs carry a minimum labour charge of one hour ($100)
Exceptions may apply to some low cost units, by prior agreement only.

Sound Check Electronics current repair time is around 4 weeks from the time your unit is booked in.
This time can be longer if parts are needed, but we will endeavor to keep you updated on this.
Express Service is available upon request. Additional fee applies.

Estimates are only given where the total repair cost is likely to exceed $220 including GST.
If it looks like exceeding $220 we will send you an estimate.
(excludes additional express fee)
A diagnostic fee of $65 will be charged if an estimation is given (via text or email) but you do not wish to proceed with the repair.

Estimates are unable to be given for mixing desks of 12 channels or more

Written estimates are $100 if you do not wish to proceed with the repair – this includes estimates for insurance purposes.

The minimum fee of $65 will be charged if an item is booked in under warranty conditions and is deemed not to be faulty.

Equipment not collected within 30 days will incur an ongoing storage fee.

Equipment not collected within 3 months of notification will be sold to recoup Service and Storage costs.

Repairs are covered by a 90 day warranty.
This warranty only covers the work as performed and any parts replaced, not the entire unit.
Excludes liquid damaged units.

We bear no responsibility for freight on repair warranty returns.

Whilst all care is taken, Sound Check Electronics bear no responsibility for damage or loss of equipment held in our workshop.

Goods signed out by customers are accepted as is and any queries about condition must be made prior to signing them out.

Adelaide Metro Area

Onsite Service Call is a minimum $175 inc GST (including up to 45 minutes onsite), plus parts, then $100 per hour inc GST (15 minute increments)

Outside Metro Area – Additional Charge

Gawler – $45

Victor Harbour/Goolwa – $90

Mount Barker – $25
